The Crescent Foundation is proud to announce the election of its officers for 2014-2016.
Officers elected in December of 2013 are:

The Crescent Foundation, Inc. was created by the Tampa Alumni Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., a professional civic and social service organization, in March 2005. The Foundation received it’s 501(C)(3) non-profit designation December 26, 2007.
The Foundation promotes education and social programs targeting young males between13-18. It is designed to instill positive reinforcement, scholastic standards along with a broad exposure to professional career choices through Phi Beta Sigma’s Sigma Beta Club.
The National Sigma Beta Club was created in 1950 by Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. under the direction of Dr. Parlette Moore. The Fraternity became the first Greek Letter organization in the U.S. to create a youth auxiliary. The Tampa Alumni Chapter of the Fraternity established the local chapter of the Sigma Beta Club in 2005.
Sigma Beta Club members are mentored under a series of educational initiatives such as; Academics, Career Goals, Ethics, Social Responsibility, and Healthy Living.
Sigma Beta Advisors include professionals with advanced academic degrees and diverse background in private industry, which give Sigma Beta members unique insights in developing their choice of college, major and professional career goals.
The Foundation achieves its mission through private donations in addition to corporate and grant funding.
